Pioneering Safety Solutions for Over 20 Years

In 1997 Radians was founded in Memphis, TN, primarily focusing on safety eyewear and hearing protection in the Sporting Goods sector.

In 1998 we were awarded our first patent for the Radians AV, a safety product that combined hearing and eye protection in one device.

In 1999 we became member of the National Safety Council and launched safety products into the Industrial Safety channel.

The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association is a trade association comprised of distributors, manufacturers, and rep agents of light construction, industrial, and related products.

We signed licensing agreement with DEWALT, Mossy Oak & Realtree, acquired Techna International, and rebranded with new logo.

In 2004, we signed a licensing agreement with REMINGTON and launched safety products into the Hardware channel.

After expanding into Australia, we acquired SSI Footwear Company and launched product line of DEWALT footwear. We also launched our Hard Hats division.

In addition to winning numerous prestigious industry awards, in 2006 we opened RadWest, our Sparks, Nevada, facility.

In 2007 we signed a global licensing agreement with BLACK & DECKER and continued to earn major industry awards.

In 2008 we acquired a custom molded plug patent and launched a new category - RADWEAR High Visibility Safety Vests.

In 2009 we launched RADLINK, giving distributors access to order online, review past orders, and download marketing materials.

In 2010 we became members of IGA, the International Glove Association.

Along with moving into our new Memphis headquarters and opening a facility in Dallas, we also became members of Sphere1, Evergreen Marketing, and ISEA.

In 2012 we opened Radians Europe in London, expanded our Memphis warehouse, and established licensing agreements with Smith & Wesson.

We acquired Crossfire Safety Eyewear, a premium brand known for its cutting-edge designs and sports appeal. Our acoustical testing laboratory was accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program.

In 2014 RadWest moved to a new facility in Reno, NV, tripling our warehouse space. We also introduced a new heat stress management line called Arctic Radwear.

In addition to winning multiple industry awards, in 2015 we launched DEWALT Hi-Vis gear, acquired VisionAid, and broke ground on our new headquarters.

In 2016 we added over 75 products to our PPE line, opened a new training center, launched a new line of industrial rainwear, and entered the ladies' hi-vis market.

We launched eyewear with IQuity™ intelligent anti-fog coating and partnered with DSM Dyneema to introduce a new line of cut protection gloves.

We introduced the VolCore™ line and entered the N95 respirator market. We also acquired Bellingham® Glove and Neese Industries, and added 50 new styles of leather gloves.

In 2019 we invested in HubSpot and updated our website. We introduced granite and quartz vented hard hats and rebuilt our My-Viz custom apparel designer website.

Radians won multiple awards in 2020, including Best New Shooting Accessory for Vertex Nano at the 2020 Big Rock Sports show.

Radians continued to win awards in 2021, including the ISHN Readers' Choice Awards for our Tether Vests, Retractable Tool Tethers, and cutting-edge THRAXUS™ safety eyewear.

In September 2022 we took possession of new facility at 5335 Mineral Wells, growing our Memphis campus to approximately eight covered acres.

In 2023 Radians THRAXUS Elite™ Safety Eyewear won the Occupational Health & Safety New Product of the Year Award in the Vision Protection category.

In 2024 Radians Outdoors debuts its new brand. We also added Type II safety helmets to our product line, became an offical partner with Ducks Unlimited, and launched a heated gear line.

In 2025 we invested in equipment to expand our Vend Pack program, launched 14 styles of powder-free disposable gloves, and created a dedicated Sample Room to streamline our ordering process.
